Wal-Mart appeal in Twin Falls
This Tuesday, July 5, Wal-Mart will be appealing the Twin Falls Planning and Zoning Board's recent, unanimous decision to deny the zoning change the retailer sought to build in Twin Falls. "Now is the time for us to take a stand for our city and to preserve our way of life," writes Wendell (Nick) Edwards of the Concerned Citizens League of Twin Falls/Magic Valley.
The hearing is set for 6 p.m. in the city council chambers at 305 3rd Avenue East. It's going to be packed, and organizers suggest people show up by 5:30. Go get 'em, Bruins!
UPDATE 7/6/05 - The City Council upheld the P&Z board's decision. Click here for more.

I find your views "extreme". To fight fire with fire brings only ashes.
