laughs -- because OF COURSE all couples share a last name

congrats on the coverage!

Sara, I can't tell you the number of times this has happened to my husband and our daughter, especially since I'm the one that's kinda sorta in the public eye. But the assumption seems stranger coming from a college student reporter, though I think I've heard stories of more women taking their husbands' names again.

Nice coverage! What I wanna know is after one person mentioned Clinton, others pitched in ... with what (or who)? A wee bit of bias on the part of the reporter?

I totally understand the mistake - as far as I know, it's still relatively uncommon for women to keep their last name when they get married. "Andy Anderson" just doesn't have a great ring to it, though.

As far as bias, I think the reporter mostly just wasn't taking very close notes. And I understand that, since it's more fun to drink beer and talk than to drink beer and talk and take notes!

“The next president will definitely be a democrat, all the republican candidates suck,” Anderson said.

Succinct, to the point, and 110% correct -- good call, Sara.
