Yes, it's easy for me to make fun of Idaho, sitting here 3,000 miles away for one more day. But really, is this what we want the rest of the nation to see? As Sisyphus notes in the comments at the Eye on Boise post, illegal immigration is a serious issue and Shirley McKague's hysteria-fueled joint resolution to Congress (the original version of which was e-mailed to her by the John Birch Society) does nothing serious to address it.

Speaking of which, Bowers put in. I was thinking he was going to take a pass and give it to Takasugi after his bad press as a result of his John Birch rantings. We have contested races in all of District 9 which is great. Now we need someone to run against Roberts if jsut to get him out of leadership. A hardworking D should win in Valley County.
