UPDATE, November 2006: Grassroots for Grant has been archived and is now password protected. If you have a legitimate interest in seeing it (if, for example, you are Howard Dean, Barack Obama, John Edwards, or Al Gore and want to hire me for the 2008 cycle), let me know.
As of today, I am the blog manager for the Larry Grant for Congress campaign. Check out our new blog at Grassroots for Grant. As far as we know, we're the first-ever campaign blog in Idaho. I've been posting for about two weeks, but today is the official launch, with Larry's "welcome" message. Woo hoo!
Larry is running in Idaho's 1st Congressional District - the post now held by Butch Otter, who is vacating the job to run for governor. It's going to be an interesting campaign: Six Republicans have lined up to vie for the job, while Larry has a lone Democratic opponent for the primary.
As the former vice president of Micron Technology here in Boise, Larry - an Idaho native - helped guide the semiconductor company through its period of greatest growth. He's a tech-oriented guy who completely "gets" what blogs have done for the political process. He's also a high-quality candidate who believes America deserves much better than it's getting in Washington these days. I am pleased and honored to be working for him.
I plan to keep writing RSR, though Grassroots for Grant will now be my main priority. Please have a look, and - if you live in Idaho's 1st CD - get involved with what's going to be a vibrant online campaign to restore fairness, integrity, and accountability to Congress.
Addendum: Between February and April 2006, I also did some paid consulting work for the Brady for Idaho campaign.
Congratulations! Good luck!

Thansk, Brad, and thank you for leaving your comment over there. Nothing like giving me an invitation to ask for money for our campaign!

Julie,
Thanks for putting your thoughts about the November election on our Idaho State Journal blog. You big city Boise folks often make us bumpkins here in Southeastern Idaho feel left out.
So we were happy to hear from you.
Let's keep the rich dialogue going.
And by the way: Go ISU Bengals!
