We need help!
If you want change, if you want middle class, working Idahoans to have a voice, if you want a leader who cares about jobs, health care, a clean environment, a vibrant economy, if you want some who cares about our troops and veterans, energy security and developing Idaho’s vast wealth of alternative energy … Here’s your chance!
Sen. Russ Feingold’s Progressive Patriots Fund is holding a contest between nine darn good Democratic U.S. Senate candidates. The one with the most votes gets a $5,000 contribution. The runners up get contributions too, based on how they rank.
Last we heard, LaRocco was sitting around third in a tight race.
Vote now!
LaRocco for Progressive Patriots.
Show the nation that Idaho is ready to elect LaRocco. Vote for real change.
While you’re at it, why not make it a twofer?
Head to Sen. Barbara Boxer’s website and vote again. She’s also picking a senate candidate with the most votes to send contributions to.
Contributions are a big deal to the campaign. We’re planning for the day that we have to respond to Jim Risch. He has pumped $380,000 of his own money into his campaign and has the backing of Big Oil, Big Pharma and others.
Risch will spend those Big Bucks on deceptive advertising. The next time he spends about $100,000 on a lying television ad claiming he gave Idahoans “the largest tax cut in state history” (without mentioning that he raised sales taxes 20 percent—on food and other necessities—to pay for it), we need to respond.
That takes money.
Thanks for your help and your vote for change. Please tell everyone on your personal email lists to vote for LaRocco on the Feingold and Boxer sites. If you want to make your own financial contribution, head to Act Blue.
Thanks,
Bob Stout
Campaign Manager
LaRocco for Senate
P.S. Watch Larry LaRocco Live!! An interview by Aaron Kunz of Pocatello’s News Chanel 6 will air live 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. The entire newscast will revolve around LaRocco. Those outside the viewership area can see the interview streamed live at www.kpvi.com.
Update June 23/editor's note: The interview noted above is archived in several parts at the KPVI website. It's substantive, issues oriented, and well worth watching.
Lots of good news, Bob and Dean. I'm really impressed and happy that Larry is in the Progressive Patriots vote, and if he can finish in the Top 3, that'd be especially good.
I hadn't heard about Barbara Boxer's campaign. I'll get over there and vote, too. It seems like Larry is just bubbling under the radar and will soon break through when people realize he, not tax-shifting Jim Risch, is the one we want to send to DC to replace Larry Craig.
The Saturday newscast sounds like a good showcase, too. Do you know whether it will be archived for anyone who can't get to the TV or computer at the appointed time?

KPVI plans to archive the interview.
The interview went well and Larry LaRocco challenged Risch to debate and to stop calling a tax shift onto middle class Idahoans a big tax cut. Check it out.
