"Sali will benefit from the McCain-Obama battle atop the ticket"--gotta disagree with that part of the analysis.

Word, Sisyphus. Thanks for pointing that out.

Of course, conventional wisdom usually holds that Republicans do better here in presidential years. But this isn't looking like a CW year, is it?

Wow, I'd hate to be Bill Sali right now. I might sing that song "nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I guess I'll go eat worms". Nor would I want to be Jim Risch. Did you read about Larocco and the polls? He is moving forward still.

And great props to him for his fundraising. If he can keep raising money like he has, he might even be able to put out TV spots.

sorry to change the subject.

Ha ha! All you Anti-Sali Socialists are funny! With Bill Sali taking the lead in Standing Up to the United Nations by co-sponsoring H.R. 1146, all true Patriots will be voting for Sali even more! Wacky Walter Mitty has no chance of winning, because he tries to get Idahoans to give him money. Bill Sali knows it's more economical just to get rich people already in Washington to give him money! Plus, since they're rich, it means they're smart, and it's always better to have smart people give you advice and money.
